Mangrove is a popular aquarium and terrarium decoration. Here you can buy natural wood from Asia for your aquarium or aquascape - absolutely unique! Mangrove wood provides the suckling catfish with the dietary fiber they need and they release natural humic substances into the aquarium water. This gives your aquarium a great, very slightly amber-colored touch. This makes the colors of your fish stand out even more and your aquarium inhabitants feel absolutely at home in this very biotope-friendly water. However, if you want to consciously forego this effect, you should initially filter through activated charcoal or pre-soak the roots for a while in a separate container. You can also use Mangrove without restriction in aquariums with invertebrates.

The rather dark red-brown mangrove pieces are somewhat coarser in structure. They can be spectacularly planted with mosses or ferns, Bucephalandra etc.

Very nice at a fair price
Ordered two big chunks of wood and expected to return at least one of them. Olibetta did a great job packing and dispatching with DHL.
Upon arrival I was amazed by the quality and how nice they both were so decided to keep them both.
One minor detail;
Both pieces were very dry and Im still in progress of soaking.
