Description
Basic P is a stable and specially adapted phosphate mixture for the targeted increase of the PO4 value in every sea and freshwater aquarium. Basic P effectively prevents phosphate limitation, which is dangerous for corals and plants, and sustainably increases their growth and health.
Dosage :
Dose 10 ml per 100 l of water to increase the PO4 value by 0.1 mg / l.
The dosage can be done daily.
Our recommendation:
- Increase the phosphate value slowly and gently so that your corals and plants can optimally adapt.
- Make sure that the phosphate level never drops to 0 mg / l, as corals and plants need phosphate for healthy growth.
- Both nitrifying (ammonium/ammonia - & nitrite - nitrate) and denitrifying (nitrate - & nitrogen) bacteria require phosphate as a natural energy carrier, which is why a sufficient amount must always be available.
