Dennerle Nano Corner Filter Replacement Cartridge 40/60, 3 pieces

Good water quality is essential for the wellbeing of fish and other aquarium inhabitants. Poor water conditions can cause serious health problems, so regular aquarium maintenance matters. When setting up a tank or carrying out partial water changes, tap water needs to be treated to make it suitable for your aquarium inhabitants. Filter media also need attention and occasional replacement.

Bacteria play a key role in maintaining the aquarium's biological balance by breaking down fish waste, uneaten food and plant debris. Different types of bacteria process different substances, making a suitable bacterial community important for managing aquarium waste.

This replacement filter element makes it easy to change the filter media in the Nano Corner Filter and Nano Corner Filter XL. Its large surface area provides space for filter bacteria to colonise, while the special three-layer filter fleece traps suspended matter and fine particles to help keep the water clear. Replace the element at regular intervals to maintain filter performance.
