Description
To remove chemical pollutants, such as chlorine, drug residues, etc., there are special active carbon mats as an insert in the filter.
Adsorptive filtering is usually only necessary in the running-in phase of the aquarium or after using medication. In any case, the filter media should only be used for a limited period (approx. 4 weeks) and then removed or replaced.
