Description
For adsorptive filtering, i.e. to remove chemical pollutants (such as chlorine, drug residues, etc.), there are special activated charcoal mats as an insert in the filter.
Adsorptive filtering is usually only necessary in the running-in phase of the aquarium or after using medication. The filter media should only be used for a limited period of approx. 4 weeks and then removed or replaced.
