Description
Exo Terra Bahariya Black Stone Desert is a natural substrate for terrariums and contains no added chemicals or dyes. The substrate made of sand, granite and clay is ideal for creating unique desert and savannah habitats.
The substrate stays in shape once dry which allows you to build rocks, tunnels and caves as part of your terrarium habitat. Reptiles like to hide in such natural structures. The substrate can conduct heat and helps regulate their body temperature. Elevated areas also offer excellent spots for basking.
The sandy and stony texture of the substrate stimulates the animals' natural burrowing behaviour.
