Description
Exo Terra's Outback Red Stone Desert is a soil substrate for desert terrariums with no added chemicals or dyes. It consists of a mixture of sand, granite and clay which simulates the natural colour of a desert floor.
The substrate makes it easy to create rock formations, tunnels and caves. The substrate retains its shape after it dries and will not collapse. The heat-conducting substrate also helps regulate the body temperature of your terrarium's inhabitants and offers them place to hide as well as bask. The consistency stimulates the animals' natural digging behavior.
