Description
The Hobby safety pad is placed under the glass basin and prevents cracks and glass breakage and is available in different sizes.
The safety pad is not only of a suggestive nature, but it is also a duty, so to speak when operating an aquarium or terrarium that would otherwise rest directly on the surface. The safety pad is made of fine foam and prevents the smallest particles, which are located under the glass bottom, from leaving micro-fine scratches, which can quickly enlarge into a crack due to the water volume and the glass weight and thus cause the aquarium to leak.
