Description
SE600 is a multi-purpose electrode for accurately determining the pH, EC and TDS values in the water of aquariums, nutrient tanks, aquacultures etc. It has two electrodes and measures the pH, the dissolved solids in the water (TDS) and the conductivity (EC value). The probe is compatible with the combination measuring devices MW801 and MW802 PRO by Milwaukee.
This probe requires less maintenance than conventional probes because it has a dual connection point which reduces the risk of getting clogged due to deposits. It is filled with gel with the result that the electrolyte level no longer needs to be maintained. The robust casing made of artificial resin provides effective protection from damage and chemical reactions with substances in the water, such as medications.
To continue to get accurate measurements over time, the manufacturer recommends regular maintenance of the probe.
1. Always store the cap in a buffer or storage solution, never in tap or DI water.
2. Clean the probe regularly with a cleaning solution.
3. After cleaning and/or storage, calibrate the probe prior to testing. This reliably compensates for changes in the pH sensor.
4. Gently stir the probe in the sample for quick test results.
