With the AquaActiv BioKick filter starter by Oase you can turbocharge your pond filter start - ideal in spring, when starting for the first time, after a water change or intensive filter cleaning.
This unique powder contains high-performance bacteria that colonise your filter within a very short time. These little helpers work tirelessly to break down pollutants such as nitrite, ammonium and ammonia to ensure clean and clear pond water.

BioKick contains millions of active microorganisms that colonise the filter sponges so that the filter reaches its full capacity fast - for the cleanest results.

Application:

• Sprinkle AquaActiv Biokick powder directly on the filter sponges or into the filling chamber of the pond filter.
• You will need 100 ml for a pond with a volume of up to 5 m³.

Note:

• Particularly suitable for natural garden ponds.
• The best time to use is in spring and when starting for the first time.
• The manufacturer recommends switching off the UVC lamp of your pre-clarifier for 10-14 days after adding BioKick, as the UVC radiation could damage the filter bacteria. The pond filter can continue to run normally.
• Filter bacteria should only be used once the water temperature has stabilised at 8°C.
