Tetra Algetten, 12 Pcs

Tetra Algetten are an anti-algae product in tablet form with an extended-release formulation for freshwater aquariums.

Tetra Algetten both prevent and offer long-term control of algae. The tablets operate using the depot principle: the concentration of the anti-algae active ingredients slowly increases in the aquarium water, thus providing a mild, long-lasting effect.

Algae are visibly reduced after just 4-7 days, and the formation of new algae is prevented. Tetra Algetten are supplied in a practical dispenser for convenient long-term application. They are suitable for use in aquariums containing fish, plants, and microorganisms.

Application:

• Particularly suitable for small aquariums up to 40 litres.
• Dosage: Add 1 tablet of Tetra Algettes to 10 litres of aquarium water.
• Placement: Place the tablet in the enclosed dispenser and place the dispenser directly under the water surface in an area with a lot of water movement (e.g. filter outlet pipe or diffuser stone).
• Replace/repeat: For prevention and long-term control, replace the tablets every 4 weeks if necessary or repeat the application.

Note:

• Filtering: Filtering via activated carbon or similar materials may impair the effectiveness of the treatment.
• UV clarifiers: UV clarifiers must be switched off during application.
• Water change: Do not carry out water changes during the application.
• Aeration: When using any algae treatment, aeration is required to ensure sufficient oxygen supply.
• Algae residues: Dead algae should ideally be mechanically removed with a net, as they can otherwise negatively impact water quality.
