The redesigned Tetra EX Plus external filter series features a multitude of new features and supports the well-being of your aquarium inhabitants and plants.
This complete set operates quietly and is quick and easy to install. The filter system is easy to srt thanks to the quick-start button. All necessary parts are included, guaranteeing a quick, hassle-free start.
The special multi-chamber filter system ensures stable water parameters by biologically, mechanically, and chemically filtering the aquarium water up to five times. Tetra offers a wide variety of filter media for this system. You can customise the filter to your needs with the following media: ceramic filter rings, carbon filter media, biological filter sponges, fine filter fleece, and special bio-filter balls.
Easy cleaning is guaranteed by the simple, single-lever safety opening system: it allows for quick opening of the external filter, saving you time and letting you enjoy your aquarium for longer. The pre-filter provides added convenience by filtering out larger particles from the water, thus protecting the subsequent filter media and extending their lifespan.
Larger filters and increased hose diameters ensure a flow rate increase of up to 39%. The reduced energy consumption not only protects the environment but also your wallet.
