Description
Measures the nitrite value (NO2-) reliably and precisely in freshwater aquariums, saltwater aquariums and ponds.
Organic nitrogenous substances in the water, such as fish droppings and leftover food, are broken down in various stages, namely to harmful ammonia, toxic nitrite (NO2-) and finally to nitrate (nitrogen cycle). Even a nitrite content of more than 0.3mg/L is harmful to your fish in the long term.
