JBL Carbomec Activ, 400 g

The JBL Carbomec Aktiv is a highly active filter carbon for use in filter systems and is used to quickly remove residues and discolouration in freshwater aquariums.

Fine filtering
Carbomec Activ is a highly active filter carbon for the removal of medication residues, water discolouration and high-molecular organic contaminants from freshwater aquariums. Carbomec Activ is set to pH 7 and therefore ideally suited for use in the pH range 6.5 to 7.5.

Safe use
Carbomec Activ does not release algae-promoting phosphates into the water and does not increase the conductivity. Activated carbon should not be used permanently and should be replaced regularly.

Simple application
The JBL Carbomec activated carbon is poured into the universal filter bag and rinsed several times under warm water, then rinsed with cold water. The universal bag with the coal is embedded in the filter and is immediately ready for use.
