Papillon Glass Planarian Trap, 1 Hole

Discovered planaria? Don't panic: You can effectively remove the pests from the aquarium without chemicals! The planarium trap made of high-quality glass impresses with its beautiful shape and clever design: depending on the model, there are up to three openings on one side of the elongated glass cylinder. They guide the animals into the inside of the trap, from which they cannot find their way out on their own. The closure opens into a hollow sphere in which the worms usually gather, so they can be easily removed. Thanks to the satinised glass on the inside walls of the closure, it seals well - no escape for the little devils.

How does the trap work? The best way is to prepare the glass cylinder with a small piece of raw liver, dead fish, etc., fill it with water and place it on the substrate with the openings facing downwards. Make sure that the openings are accessible and not blocked by gravel or sand. Glass is easy to clean. When using a cleaning agent, please make sure that no residue gets into the aquarium water!

Planaria react quite sensitively to light. That's why they seek shelter in dark areas - for example near the substrate or in the filter or in densely overgrown corners. It makes sense to check these places often and, if necessary, lay the traps near such sites.
