Description
Equilibrium™ helps to optimise the mineral content in planted aquariums. It increases the essential mineral content in the water which balances and stabilises water hardness. With calcium, magnesium and potassium salts.
It contains no sodium or chloride and can be used with reverse osmosis (RO), distilled (DI) and any mineral-deficient water.
Recommended use (for RO and DI):
To increase the mineral content or total hardness (GH, aka general hardness) by 1 meq/L (= 3 dH), you can add 16 g (1 tablespoon) of Equilibrium™ per 80 litres of aquarium water. For best effect, use it when setting up a new aquarium or while changing the water.
Tip: To ensure good solubility, Seachem recommends mixing the product with 1 litre of water. The white solution prepared in this way causes a slight cloudiness in the aquarium water which usually dissipates after 15-30 minutes.
Note: If you are using Equilibrium™ with water that is not RO or DI, measure the total hardness of the after first and add the required amount accordingly.
