Description
Matrix™ is a highly porous inorganic biofilter media for the removal of nitrogenous waste. The biological filter medium has a diameter of approximately 10 mm and offers a huge external as well as internal surface for nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria to colonise. In this manner, Matrix™ effectively removes nitrate, ammonia and nitrite at the same time.
The inert biological filter medium does not degrade and therefore does not need to be replaced over time. Compatible with all types of wet or wet-dry filters.
Tip: You can rinse Matrix™ with water every once in a while without losing the beneficial bacteria which are located inside the filter where the water cannot reach.
Recommended use:
Use 250 ml of Matrix™ for 200 L of water. Due to its size, Matrix™ does not need to be placed in a filter bag.

Služi svrsi ali nije ništa posebno kako reklamiraju.U filteru mi previše skuplja smeće i tada mi se smanji protok,ovo je običan Pumice stone.Nakon 4 godine sve sam povadio i zamjenio ga sa sera siporax
