Description
Once you use it, you'll never want to be without it! PhosBond™ combines the phosphate-removing capabilities of aluminium oxide and iron oxide that quickly remove phosphates and silicates from freshwater and marine aquariums.
PhosBond™ is highly porous with a large surface area, giving it a large binding capacity.
► PhosBond™ binds 1.19 mg/g PO4.
Recommended use:
Rinse PhosBond™ before use. It is best to place it in an area of maximum water flow. A filter bag is recommended.
Use 60 ml of PhosBond™ to 200 litres of marine water or 400 litres of fresh water. The product needs approx. 4 days to take effect after which the phosphate and silicate concentrations can be tested. If the levels have not dropped to approx. 0.02 mg/L, replace PhosBond™ or leave it as is until the values rise again.
The product is not depleted as long as concentrations remain under control. Over-treatment is not recommended!
