Söll Substrate for Aquatic Plants, 12 kg

The aquatic plant substrate made of lava, granulated clay and limestone creates a surface on which aquatic plants can take root. Essential minerals and trace elements are slowly released to the roots thus creating good growth conditions. The substrate does not contribute to algal growth in the pond and does not change the pH values of the pond water.

The substrate is ideal for marsh plants, floating leaf and underwater plants as well as water lilies.

Application:

Ideally, planting should be done before filling the pond with water. Plant your aquatic plants in the substrate at a water depth of 5-15 cm. It is advisable to cover the substrate with gravel to prevent it from getting detached from the plants and washed away. Then fill up the pond with water.
