This innovative composition ensures 50% higher water permeability compared to conventional gravel, promoting even circulation and ensuring plants are optimally supplied with nutrients.

The clay pores allow even the finest roots to anchor quickly and securely, while the loose structure effectively prevents soil compaction and associated root rot. Furthermore, the substrate supports the colonisation of beneficial soil bacteria, which reduces water pollution and ensures crystal-clear water. Directions for use & dosage:

• To prevent your aquarium water from turning cloudy, wash Tetra ActiveSubstrate thoroughly to remove dust caused by abrasion during transport before adding the substrate to your aquarium.
• For best results, fill your aquarium with a 4 cm layer of the substrate.
• To maximise plant growth, the manufacturer recommends adding a 2 to 4 cm layer of Tetra CompleteSubstrate as a nutrient-rich base first.
