Description
Tropic Marin's Carbon consists of activated carbon that efficiently combats yellowing and pollutants in saltwater and freshwater aquariums. Due to its high absorption power, water quality is improved after a short period of time, while - in contrast to most activated carbon - phosphates and silicates are released only in very small quantities. The clean water also lets in much more light, which benefits the entire aquarium.
Ingredients: activated charcoal.
Application:
Suitable for long-term or temporary use in a filter.
► For long-term use: filter approx. 1% of the aquarium volume per hour through the activated carbon. Replace after 8 weeks.
► For short-term use: Place Tropic Marin Carbon in a fast flow filter for 1-3 days. It can be used to remove pollutants from medicated water for instance.
