Tropica Specialised Nutrition contains nitrogen and phosphorus for fast-growing plants with high nutrient requirements. In addition, iron, manganese and important micronutrients.

This liquid fertiliser is very suitable for aquariums with many and fast-growing plants.

Specialised Nutrition is added every week along with a water change. The single dose of the pump dispenser is 2 ml. We recommend 6 ml Specialised Nutrition in 50 litres of water, but advise to pay attention to the needs of the plants. In addition to micronutrients, Specialised Nutrition also contains all the necessary macronutrients. The fertiliser should be used above all if the whole plant lacks nutrients.

The addition of Specialised Nutrition increases the growth of algae when the plants are already beginning to grow.

Since Specialised Nutrition contains nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P), the dosage must be adjusted to the absorption capacity of the plants in order to avoid unwanted algae growth in the water. If there are signs of algae growth, simply reduce the dose by 50% and change the water more frequently than usual, for example up to 50% weekly. The water exchange should not only reduce the nutrient content in the water but also help to remove algae spores, residues and other elements that have accumulated in the water of the aquarium.
