Description

The Rock Heater by Zoo Med is made from a hydrated rock. This material has greater strength, better conductivity and a longer lifespan than cement or pumice.

The Rock Heater has a concealed NiChrome heating element. It ensures even heat distribution and prevents isolated hot spots which could result in animals injuring or burning themselves.

The surface temperature can be set or adjusted individually as required thanks to the rheostat.

Caution:

► The rock heater should not be used as the primary or sole source of heat in a terrarium.

► Do not cover the Rock Heater.

► If you notice that a terrarium animal is not moving away from the Rock Heater it is most likely a sign that the temperature in your terrarium is too low. Provide an additional source of heat.
