The Fish&Shrimp Set Duo by AQUAEL has everything you need to set up a modern nano freshwater aquarium in no time!

► glass cover with an opening for a cascade filter (included); the Smart-Open system on the lid ensures that the lid is secured to the hook on the back side when opened and does not close

► double LEDDY SLIM DUO lighting with energy-saving LEDs (two rows of 5 W each, total 10 W), including SUNNY diodes with a colour temperature of 6500 K and PLANT diodes with a colour temperature of 8000 K

Surprisingly Bad Quality for a European Manufacturer

THE GOOD
+ LED lamp is enough for low tech tanks. It has 3 modes that you can cycle with turning the light off and on in 5 seconds.
+ Hang on filter flowrate is more than enough
THE BAD
- Silicon workmanship is the poorest I've ever seen so far (I have aquariums for the last 40 years)
- LED light had some scrathes on the paint
- Although it is sold as a shrimp set, the sponge at the filter intake is so coarse and will definitely suck baby shrimp
THE UGLY
- Glass lid do not fit on the aquarium. Thankfully I have a 3D printer and can design some stuff if I need. I designed a new set of hinges and handle with thinner form factor and replaced them.
Would I buy again? Considering the price, "Yes". Because I can fix those defects by myself.
But be ready to do some DIY if you purchase it.
