Description
Aponogeton boivinianus is a beautiful aquatic plant with bright green, slightly translucent leaves. It grows up to 60 cm tall and is therefore ideal as greenery in the background of the aquarium.
It grows pretty fast and as soon as its growth slows down, it needs a resting phase in the dark in cool water. The best way to do this is to place the plant in a separate, small aquarium for 3 - 4 months. It can then be reintroduced into your aquascape.
