The Eheim SYNTH filter floss is ideal for fine filtering at the end, e.g. in cloudy water.

This fine-fibre filter cleans the water mechanically again before it enters the aquarium. EHEIM SYNTH removes the finest particles from the water, which are often responsible for clouding the aquarium. As the last filter layer, EHEIM SYNTH is used in a thin layer of a maximum of 10 mm. You should always use a new layer of EHEIM SYNTH after medication treatment.

The mechanical filter media hold back suspended matter and dirt particles. This happens in different stages, in the beginning, before the water goes through the further cleaning process, the prefilter media EHEIM MECH and EHEIM MECHpro prove themselves. EHEIM FIX is ideal as a separating layer between mechanical and biological filter media. And for fine filtering at the end, before the water re-enters the aquarium, the EHEIM SYNTH filter wadding is ideal.
