Microbe-Lift Basic 1 - Calcium, 2.000 g

This additive based on high-purity calcium chloride dihydrate is suitable for all marine aquariums and supports the healthy growth of invertebrates and corals.

Application and dosage:

• As a stock solution (1 litre): Put 367 g Basic 1 Calcium in a measuring cup and fill up to 1 litre with osmosis water. Adding 10 ml of this stock solution to 100 l of aquarium water increases the calcium content by around 10 mg / l.
• As a concentrate (1 litre): Put 500 g of Basic 1 Calcium in a measuring cup and fill it up to 1 liter with osmosis water. Adding 7.5 ml of this stock solution to 100 l of aquarium water increases the calcium content by around 10 mg / l.
• Direct addition: Add 3.7 g Basic 1 Calcium to 100 l water directly into your sump pool. This increases the calcium content by around 10 mg / l.

Please note the following:

• The daily addition depends on consumption. Therefore, you should regularly check the carbonate hardness in your aquarium.
• For optimal basic care of your corals, you should use Basic 1 Calcium together with the Basic series from Microbe-Lift.
• Basic 1 Calcium and Basic 3 Carbonate should always be dosed at different times.
• Basic 1 Calcium is also suitable for the original balling method.
• Because calcium chloride dissolves with the development of heat, you should always use cold water.
