Description
This special sand for discus aquariums comes in the optimal grain size of 0.7-1.2 mm and is available in different natural colours.
This attractive, high-purity discus sand is washed several times and then kiln-dried. The edges of the grains of sand are rounded, so that no aquarium dwellers can hurt themselves.
Olibetta's discus sand is a pure natural product, ideal for plant growth, as sufficient nutrients can always reach the roots.
Olibetta's discus sand also works as a large natural filter that breaks down pollutants. The natural gravel should be thoroughly rinsed with cold water before use, despite its high purity, to remove any dust caused by transport.
