Description
These scratch-resistant Algae Pads for glass and acrylic surfaces are made of melamine foam and use a special micro-abrasive technology to eliminate algae from the inner walls of an aquarium. The pads are chemically inert and do not require the use of soaps or other cleaning agents that could harm aquarium inhabitants.
The pads are neutral white in colour to make algae more visible and to make it easier to identify areas that have already been cleaned.
Tip: The pads are particularly effective on algae that are nestled in the fine scratches on aquarium walls.

What is melamine?
Melamine is a highly effective abrasive cleaner with a microstructure that is as hard as glass yet flexible. Melamine removes algae from aquarium walls almost like ultra-fine sandpaper.
