Tetra AlgoStop Controlled Release, 12 Pcs

Tetra AlgoStop are dimensionally stable, extended-release tablets for the targeted long-term control of algae in freshwater aquariums. The tablets destroy brush and filamentous algae and prevent further algae growth. The active ingredient is released over a period of around 6 weeks. Dead plant matter and algae residue should be mechanicaly removed from the aquarium with a net to avoid affecting the water values. Suspended matter gets filtered out.

Application:

• Dosage: Add 1 tablet of Tetra AlgoStop depot to 40 litres of aquarium water.
• Placement: Place in an area with plenty of water movement for optimum distribution of the active ingredient.
• Replacement/repeat: For long-term prevention, replace the tablets every 4 weeks if necessary or repeat the application.

Note:

• Filtering: Filtering via activated carbon or similar can impair the effectiveness of the product.
• UV clarifiers: UV clarifiers must be switched off during use.
• Water change: Do not carry out water changes during the applciation.
• Aeration: When using algaecides, aeration is required to ensure a sufficient oxygen supply.
• Algae residues: Dead algae should be removed mechanically with a net to as they can negatively impact the water quality.
• Suitable for use in freshwater aquariums with fish, plants and microorganisms.
